Job Description:
The Candidate will provide ongoing technical expertise and support to the on boarding and integration of merchants onto the MasterPass product.
The integration support of Merchants for MasterPass is a high-visibility and fast-paced area of MasterCard and key to the digital commerce vision.
Major Accountabilities:
- Maintaining existing and developing new SDKs for the different MasterPass Merchant APIs
- Maintaining existing and developing new Reference Applications for use by Merchants and Partners to help streamline integration with MasterPass
- Act as the subject matter expert on everything MasterPass Merchant API-related
- Act as the subject matter expert on the MasterPass data model as it pertains to Merchants and the overall checkout experience
- Provide instruction and guidance to Merchants and Partners during MasterPass integration
- Provide trouble shooting of issues during integration.
Experience:
- Digital / e-commerce integration experience highly preferred
- 5-8 years experience in related field
Technical Skills:
- REST Web Service experience required.
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience strongly preferred.
- Client-side web development experience required.
- Strong Oracle/SQL skills
- Java experience required.
- C# experience strongly preferred
- PHP/Ruby experience considered a plus
- iOS / Android experience considered a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
Soft Skills:
- High-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative and organization skills.
- Ability to train/guide more junior resources.
