Job Description:
Managing various aspects of business projects. Includes project planning and design, implementing strategic and tactical initiatives, and ensuring, through formal project management practices, that the final product meets the original project requirements. Includes functions in support of Capital One project management. Includes intermediate level ability to develop detailed plans and schedules with project tracking and oversight. Leads one or more projects, which may involve multiple financial, technical, or business disciplines. Uses Microsoft Project, and analyzes data in Excel and presents in PowerPoint. Solid communication and presentation skills needed. Strong relationship building skills are a must. Knowledge of business processes and/or financial systems a plus. PMP certification preferred.

• Guides the successful completion of major projects and may function in a project leadership role.
• Develops solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
• Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least 5 to 7 years of experience in the Financial Industry and at least 5 years of experience managing large scale IT/Operations development and implementation projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to transfer information easily to stakeholders
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross functional teams and ability to build strong relationships with teams
• Must demonstrate a basic understanding of technical concepts including Application Development, System Integration etc
• Prior Capital One experience
• Experience with conversions and.or capability launches with partners
