Job Title: Data Architect

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Description:

 

·         Extensive experience as a Data Architect.

·         A minimum of five years 5 years data warehouse development, Oracle/PeopleSoft experience (CS, HCM, FMS)

·         Oracle 11g Database administration

·         Thorough understanding of relational database models and solid knowledge of relational database techniques including dimensional modeling for BI solutions.

·         Experience in designing, modeling, developing and supporting a large data warehouse.

·         Experience defining and maintaining processes & procedures related to data and information access and security.

·         Extensive experience with SQL and PL/SQL

·         Experience with data extraction and transformation software as well as data integration software.

·         Experience in logical and physical database design, hands-on modeling techniques, and development methodology; physical schema design of table spaces, rollback segments, and data files.

·         Ability to manage a variety of competing priorities and to work productively with colleagues to ensure that goals are attained in a timely manner.

·         Ability to respond in a rapid manner to problems and issues related to the RDBMS and the platform environment.

·         Excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills (both technical and non-technical), and a track record of working productively with technical staff, users and senior management.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·         Experience working with higher education data warehouse environments is highly desirable.

·         Experience with Informatica PowerCenter.

·         Experience patching and maintaining Oracle Environments.

·         Experience with Unix scripting.
