Job Description:
· Oversee and enhance various UI architecture, frontend frame work and interaction flows through design and development.
· Create wireframes and prototypes compatible on both desktop and mobile with HTML5/CSS/JS.
· Focus on details to produce cross-browser, pixel perfect UI using current web development technologies.
· Translate business requirements into use cases and high-level customer experience requirements.
· Work closely with members of Product Management, Engineers, Designers and QA to address various needs.
· Guide and mentor those around you.
· Move fast and ship fast in a continuous delivery model.
Desired Skills and Experience
· An online portfolio of sites/content you have produced, with working URLs.
· Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, web development, computer science or equivalent experience in an agile environment.
· Familiar and up to date with emerging design trends and development for both mobile and web
· Understand technical restraints in the design process (Design with code in mind)
· Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, which includes a deep understanding of browser variations and tuning client-side performance issues.
· Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator).
· Comfortable using revision control software.
· Curiosity and capacity to learn quickly and work in a fast pace environment.
· Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills.
· Working knowledge/experience with PHP, MVC, jQuery, Javascript, JQM, Flash and Action script
· Experience conducting and integrating results from various research methodologies, including consumer interviews, surveys, and usability testing
· E-commerce and CMS experience
· Familiar with front-end framework (JQM, HTML5 Boilerplate , Bootstrap, Foundation)
