Job Title: Splunk Developer/ Administrator

Location: Minneapolis, MN              

Duration:  6 months

Start date: ASAP

 

 

Job Description:

•          6+ years of experience in IT Solution delivery and architecture with a focus on Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.

•          5+ years of software development and architecture experience using Java EE technologies (Application Server, Enterprise Service Bus, SOA, Messaging, Data Access Layers)

•          3+ years of Linux/Unix shell scripting, programming experience

•          Splunk Certifications – Splunk Certified Architect or Splunk Certified Support Engineer.

•          2+ years of experience in Splunk Development and Administration including Splunk UI Modules, CLI and Search Language.

•          Experience with Splunk 5.X and above preferred.

•          Hands on experience with UNIX and Linux OS.

•          Practical knowledge of Distributed Hardware, Network, Storage (SAN), VMWare/ESX.

•          Proven ability to rapidly deliver prototypes and proof-of-concept work to validate a proposed architectural approach .

•          Excellent communication skills, influence, and client service at all levels.

•          Strong Microsoft Excel and Visio skills.

•          Resourceful and works independently; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.

•          Experience navigating organizational change.

•          Proven success in implementing new technologies in large enterprises.

•          Excellent written/oral communication skills.

•          Excellent problem solving skills.

•          Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
