Job Title: Core Java Developer

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6+Months

Description:-

Qualifications

· 5+ years software development experience

· BS in Computer Science or related degree required. MS preferred

· Excellent communication and writing skills

Core Java

· OOPs Concepts (Abstraction, Encapsulation, Polymorphism, Inheritance)

· Data Types (eg : maximum and minimum value limits on integers, floats, double etc)

· Access specifiers /modifiers (eg: Static, Final, Transient, Volatile, etc.. )

· Pass By Ref/Pass By Value

· Data Structures & Collections(eg: Stack, Queue, LinkedList, Tree, etc)

· Multithreading (eg: ThreadLocal, Synchronization, deadlocks, thread life cyle, etc)

· Serialization

· Exception Handling (eg: Checked/Unchecked, finally, throw, throws)

· JDBC (eg : Statement/Prepared Statement/CallableStatement/SQL Injection, )

Design Patterns

· Knowledge of Java/J2EE design patterns knowledge (eg : OOAD Concepts)

· Basic/commonly used patterns like Singleton, Factory, Builder

Web services

· Experience in developing web services using J2EE and frameworks such as Apache CXF and Jersey

· Good understanding of web services and SOA related standards

· SOAP vs REST

· SOAP Standards

· WS Security

· REST Design Guidelines (using proper HTTP methods, Stateless etc)

· Different HTTP methods

· Different content types

Code interview

· Testing the programming skills by asking to write some core java programs

· Eg : Find middle element of a linked list

· Using Java write a routine that reverses a string in place.

· Write a routine that reverses each word in a string (words are characters separated by spaces)

· Using Java write a program to identify and print the counter for longest sequence, given an array of integers. For ex: 2,4,9,10,11,1, 3, 5,13,14,15,16,17. The program should print 5. (longest sequence is 13,14,15,16,17)
