Job Title: Websphere EAI Monitoring

Location Allegan, MI

Duration: 6+ Years

 

SUMMARY

 

This is a Windows environment. Strong Windows experience is a must.

 

Please see below:

1. We have a great opportunity to implement an import and high visibility integration with our Factory OTC business.   (See Attachment for EAI qualifications – slightly updated from the last one.)

 

2. The next opportunity includes the implementation of a robust EAI monitoring and metrics implementation.  Looking for 1 Candidate to start asap. 

 

a.Qualification:  This person needs to have experience with implementing monitoring solutions and understand the IIB and WMQ internal monitoring capabilities as well as experience with implementing 3rd party monitoring solutions.  The high level requirements include:

 

1.1 - Monitoring with Alerting

 

1.1.1 - IIB Process

·         Message failure within IIB

·         Longer than expected running processes

o   Applications

o   Connections

o   Handles

o   Subscriptions

·         Identified and unidentified message flow failures

·         Broker health

 

1.1.2 - WMQ

·         Failure Queues

·         Dead Letter Queues (Message go to this queue when they don’t have a designated queue destination)

·         Queue depth increasing beyond set thresholds

·         Unable to put to a queue

·         Queue Manager, queues and channel health

·         Topics

 

1.2 - Metrics

 

1.2.1 - IIB (includes web services, MQ Client and Application Adapter processing)

·         Messages entering IIB

·         Messages processed successfully from IIB

·         Messages failed in IIB

·         Average Response times (entering and leaving)

·         Routing data to a data source to be created in a presentation ready state

 

1.2.2 - WMQ (Includes MQ Client)

·         Messages entering WMQ

·         Messages processed successfully from WMQ

·         Messages failed in WMQ

·         Average response times (entering and leaving)

·         Routing data to a data source to be created in a presentation ready state
