Title: Java Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
· Design, develop, unit and integration test applications with established standards
· Package and support deployment of releases
· Assist with production monitoring and support activities
Required technical skills include: -
· Strong client/server software architecture.
· Excellent Java, J2EE programming skills.
· Enterprise level web application development experience required.
· UI development experience.
· Familiarity with GWT will be a plus.
· Development experience with Application servers.
· Familiarity with Jboss will be a plus.
· Database design and modeling, experience with Oracle, PLSQL, JDBC
· Good understanding of unit testing approaches and technologies and test-driven development.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and have strong influencing skills.
· Good working knowledge of Unix Shell scripts
· Build/SCM tools like Clear case, Ant
· Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
