| Client is seeking a talented .NET Developer to join our project team to provide development and sustainment services for our clients, both pre and post-implementation. This candidate will be a key software developer for the implementation and/or support of various client applications. Responsibilities include working with System Architects and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and solutions architecture. Not only will candidates be joining a project team, they will be joining a team of resources dedicated to delivering client engagements from an off-site location focused on common tools, technologies, and methodologies. |
| Job Qualifications: |
| • Four plus years of experience in custom software development |
| • Two plus years working with 3.5/4.0 .Net Framework, including Visual Studio 2010/2012, VB.NET and/or C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, MVC, ASMX and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET. |
| • Experience with ASP.Net MVC |
| • Two plus years working with transactional database systems; i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 |
| · Experience with XML, XPATH |
| • Experience with ORM tools; i.e., Entity Framework, NHibernate |
| • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) |
| • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices. |
| • Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA). |
| • Experience with JQuery or similar technologies are preferred. |
| Preferences: |
| • Experience building mobile applications using ASP.Net MVC, jQuery Mobile |
| • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment. |
| • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary. |
| • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player |
| • Strong communication skills, both written and oral |
| • Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices |
| • Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables |
| • Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills |
| • Microsoft certifications are a plus |
| Required Skills: |
| · 3 plus years of experience with .NET |
| · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience |
