Position: Mobile Apps Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6+ months
 
 Need Locals who can go for Face-To-Face.
Responsibilities:
  • Participates in all aspects of the SDLC process as required, including analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, deployment and support
  • Acts with limited guidance to translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered and tested software.
  • Maintains technical ownership of projects, acts as liaison to other technical teams, and provides troubleshooting and support as required
  • Learns new models, techniques, and technologies as they emerge, integrating knowledge from multiple sources to bring new solutions to business problems
  • Actively participates in defining standards, processes, procedures and tools for the MCoE
  • Contributes to the achievement of the companies organizational goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of native mobile application development experience for the iOS or Android platforms and demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas:
    • Cross-platform mobile development using Rhomobile, Appcelerator, PhoneGap, Sencha, Xamarin or similar technologies; Rhomobile or Appcelerator are preferred
    • Mobile JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery Mobile, Titanium, Sencha Touch, Knockout.js, Node.js
    • Knowledge of MVC/MVP/MVVM UI design patterns and their differences
    • Cloud integration using RESTful web services and JSON
  • Knowledge of enterprise-related mobility issues such as server-side integration, scalability and performance
  • Familiarity with source code version control systems and concepts such as trunks and branches
  • Experience working within an Agile environment and all that it implies
  • Position requires a degree in computer science, information systems or related field; Associates degree with sufficient work experience will be considered
  • Passion and enthusiasm for building quality mobile software
  • Intellectually curious, yet practical and focused; Self-motivated
  • Strong knowledge of the Mobility space, including technology, applications, platforms and standards
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to apply, standard UXD principles as they relate to the target platform
  • Ability to independently research solutions, evaluating their validity in solving the problem at hand
  • Comfortable working in a fluid environment; accepting of change and sometimes unclear requirements
  • Thrives as a cross-functional team member; is able to handle the normal give and take between team members and strives to resolve conflicting approaches through acceptable compromises
  • Solid understanding of business fundamentals and the role of IT within the organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with both technical teams and customers
  • Strong organizational skills with a natural attention to detail
