Description Of Services: The solution manager will act as a functional process owner. This role includes project planning, business requirement definition and management and ensuring that the IT deliverables meet the customer’s expectations. This position requires an attention to detail on system requirements while still being able to understand and articulate the long-term vision of both our business partners and our IT architecture. The Principal Solutions Manager also needs to be able to map the current projects into a broader, long-term integration strategy. Key roles/responsibilities include: -Functional process owner that leads project planning, business requirement definition and management to ensure IT deliverables meet the customer’s expectations. -Be the central point of contact for communication and problem solving within projects: · communicate milestones, issues, risks and budget for internal management and external stakeholders. · Serve as liaison between the business and engineering. Be an advocate for the business, engineering and the end users. · Drive the prioritization process by which decisions are made around the final project scope. · Balance the customer’s requirements with technical constraints (e.g., application size, network bandwidth, hardware/software/equipment selections) to ensure that the value of the project is realized DELIVERABLES: -Analyze and document requirements and use appropriate techniques to refine, decompose, review and validate requirements. Ensure requirements are traceable, well communicated and aligned to the overall business or solution vision -Create and maintain a cohesive, coordinated plan to deliver solutions that meet the stakeholders’ priorities within budgetary and product requirements -Manage the delivery of business cases, scope and requirement documents, use-case documentation and test plans -Create, build, and coordinate project milestone status, results, and impacts to release schedule/scope/budget/quality for kickoff, baseline and release go/no-go reviews.
