Title :Senior Programmer Analyst
Location : Cedar Rapids, IA.
Duration : Long Term contract/Contract -hire
We are seeking candidates with 5 to 8 years of development experience along with experience in C#/ASP.NET. .
Senior Programmer Analyst
A Senior Programmer Analyst on our team will be expected to:
Primary Duties:
· Design, code, test, implement, and support new and existing in-house developed applications, as well as third party applications.
· Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements and technical design specifications for complex projects.
· Review design and development work of others to provide feedback for improvement and adherence to standards.
· Assists in creation and execution of test plans for integration and system tests.
· Models business processes and data.
· Work independently and as part of a team.
· Plan and set direction on small to large sized projects by coordinating with co-workers, clients, operations, and technical support
· Support other analysts by performing functions, such as coding, testing, job processing, documentation, and scheduling.
· Manage multiple activities at the same time.
· Performs training/mentoring services.
· Champions standards, SOX, and best practices.
· Demonstrates advanced understanding of software development and research tools
Position Requirements:
· Minimum 5 - 8 years work experience in this field.
· Bachelors Degree in MIS / Computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a Master Degree being a plus.
· Proven competence in analysis, design, development, and testing OOP solutions.
· .NET (C# & ASP.NET).
· MS SQL (specifically SSMS, SSIS and SSRS) and/or Oracle.
· Must demonstrate the following behaviors: Team work, interpersonal skills, communication, planning/prioritization, and continuous learning.
Knowledge of the following is a plus:
· ASP.NET MVC
· WPF
· ASP
· Business Objects
· Informatica
· SOA principles
· One or more software developmentlifecycle practices
· Understanding of Derivatives and/or Quantitative analysis
