Role: AIX Administrator
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 6+ Months
Must Have Skills:
• Unix Admin with Shell Scripting skills.
• AIX Infrastructure engineer will be supporting and delivering solutions around AIX environments, minimum AIX v6 is requested.
• Excellent Shell Scripting skills.
• Will be providing solutions to improve the day to day performance of the AIX Servers.
• Migrating, upgrading and implementing AIX OS Servers.
• Taking care of Server image management, release management, lifecycle process management
• Taking care of the correct maintenance of the Power System physical servers.
• Taking care of the correct maintenance of the LPARs servers; create, maintain and admin resources for LPARs.
• VIO Servers knowledge to manage AIX storage.
• Working closely with technical teams and project managers, customers to ensure smooth implementations and transitions.
