Job Description:
Virtualization: Expert Kernel Based Virtual Machine - KVM & Redhat Enterprise Virtualization 3.x - RHEV
Strong understanding of virtualization concepts on KVM & Redhat Enterprise Virtualization 3.x - RHEV, RHEV-M, Experience in KSM, Network Bridge, clustering, SR-IOV, RAID, Multipathing and scanning storage LUNs and bringing them to OS control,
LINUX Logical Volume Management(LVM), Hitchi Storage, iSCSI, Remote server management with HP ILO, Experience in Regular network protocols like SSH, DNS, NFS, Kick start installations
and centralized repositories. Performance tuning and Process management.
Experience in online and offline migration, High Availability, cluster configurations and good understanding of these concepts, HP-Virtual Connect
HP C7000 or any other blade enclosures
Operating system: Expert in RHEL 6.x is mandatory.
having working experience in maintaining complex Virtualization / Linux environments. Strong understanding of TCP/IP concepts, Understanding of
IPv6 and experience with IPv6 implementation, Good understanding of application protocols – DHCP, Radius, LDAP, DNS, and Radius and Scripting knowledge Perl,
shell will be added advantage, Network troubleshooting skills, Good Documentation skills, basic knowledge of creating methods and procedures and troubleshooting guides,
Soft Skills:
Should possess excellent communication skills as client interaction is required, should be a self learner, good team player and ability to grasp
high level instructions is very important, Develop test plans, Execute certification tests and create test reports, Improve design through testing,
Investigate new features, Lab support, Replicate and test production setup in a lab prior to deployment.
Hands on experience with testing equipment such as Spirent or IXIA is will be an added advantage.
