Job Description: - 

Role: .NET Developer
Location: Alexandria, VA (Local)
Duration: 6 Months +
In-Person Interview
H1B Candidates must have at least 3 years of US work experience
 
Job Specific Functions / Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and analyze complex software applications
  • Perform complex system analysis to provide solutions
  • Design and develop batch process procedures based on given process flow diagrams. Proficient in 
    PLSQL programming for implementing core business logic. 
  • Experience in coding, tuning complex SQL queries, and experience in performance tuning of database and applications. 
  • Expertise in developing web based applications using .Net Framework, VB, ASP.Net, VB.Net, ADO.Net. 
  • Working knowledge of implementing user authentication and Internet security. 
  • Experience in preparation of test cases and should have excellent testing skills. 
    Knowledgeable in the use of Network technologies like TCP/IP, SMTP and HTTP etc. 
  • Intermediate level DBA skills. 
    Experienced in Data loading using SQL Loader, Export and Import utilities. 
  • Experienced Development Life Cycle (SDLC  Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET
  • Determine architecture and design of enterprise distributed systems; Service Bus technology, Patterns
  • Develop software unit and integration system testing procedures and documentation to meet standards
  • Provide input for documentation of new or existing programs
  • Customize software based on research and customer requirements
  • Independently analyze and solve problems
  • Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
  • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
  • Create technical specifications and test plans
 
Job Specific Qualifications (Required Skill Set)
  • ASP.Net, VisualStudio.NET, VB, Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, Active Reports for .NET, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, Dreamweaver,
  • Visual Source Safe, Toad 7.2 & Higher, SQL*PLUS, WINDOWS 2003/XP, Visio, MS Office Tools, VB, C#, ADO.Net. PHP, ASP, HTML,
  • Oracle 9iAS & 9iDS, Photoshop, SQL-Server 2000, MS-ACCESS, Crystal Reports, Paradox 
  • Minimum 6 (six) years' experience in software engineering or development
  • Minimum 5 (five) years' experience working with .NET framework, C#.NET, ASP.NET, and Oracle
  • Minimum 5 (five) years' experience working within a software development lifecycle methodology (e.g. ITIL, CMMI, SDLC, Agile)
  • Minimum 5 (five) years' experience in the Requirements, Design, Coding, Unit/Integration Test lifecycle phases
  • Minimum 5 (five) years' experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software
  • Minimum 6 (six) years of solid working experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Oracle DB
  • Strong experience with designing and developing multi-tier web applications and web services with C#.NET, ASP.NET, AngularJS and MVC frameworks
  • Strong development experience using markup and scripting languages - XML, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
