Role: WebSphere Administrator
Location: El Segundo, CA
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 6+ Months
Must have at least 7+ years’ experience in WebSphere administration.
UNIX proficiency (AIX, Linux)
WebSphere Application Server (version 6.x, 7.x)
One of the following:
WebSphere Portal Server
WebSphere Process Server
WebSphere MQ
Scripting ability (UNIX, PERL, etc…)
J2EE or middle-tier production application support
IHS or Apache web server support
Apache ANT
Databases – Oracle/DB2
Familiarity with Messaging, Load balancer, BIG-IP
Preferred Skills
JBoss Application Server and/or Mule ESB
LDAP/TIM/TAM
Basic network troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with FTP, SFTP, SSH, Telnet, trace, BIG IP, Firewall and general Network components at the level to troubleshoot problems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Installation, configuration, administration, and support of WebSphere Application Servers in a J2EE middle tier environment.
• Experience in deploying applications in Domain and clustered environments.
• Apply patches and maintain the WebSphere / Apache servers.
• Triage and troubleshooting development, test, and production issues in both engineering and production environments.
