Hi Friends,
Client: Performance Test Lead
Duration:6 months
Location: Lake Forest, IL
1. Establish a baseline of performance given the current software release and patch level
2. Be able to perform those tests in a test environment to determine the positive or negative effect changes have
3. Work with key technical leaders to ensure that performance issues resulting from performance testing are identified and have proper consideration
4. Recommend optimizations based on findings in order to meet documented NFR's
5. Performance tests need to be engineered to mimic real life as well as be able to progressively add additional load to determine where scalability issues arise.
6. Measurements as part of the load testing should include the actual metrics on each of servers being utilized as well as the CPU, Memory, Process, and Request metrics from the web and database servers in conjunction with the load tests.
7. Performance tests will be built to simulate actual workflows. A set of all actual workflows should be defined that are then load tested. Baseline, breaking point, and other attributes need to be found for each workflow.
Thanks & Regards,
