Developing Test plans/ test scenarios for new features that are incorporated into internal software and provide complete coverage to ensure shipping of bug free releases.
Execution of functional test cases and capturing the output (execution is both automated and manual) for daily / weekly releases
Verifying device functionality / network functionality with a given software build.
Review, evaluate existing testing code, processes and optimize them to reduce the efforts
Automation using client defined frameworks
Skills:
Strong Android testing exp.

In-depth understanding of SDK level features on IOS & Android (Not just App testing on OS)

- Knowledge of Android's Developer Mode (grabbing bug report off the device)
- Knows how to use the adb tool to diagnose problems
- Good analytical skills (can break a problem down, isolate a bug)
- Clear, concise communication
- Anyone familiar with iOS developer tools and testing (e.g. knows how to use XCode to get debug info) are also ok.
