Position
Job Description – Microsoft BI developer/MSBI developer
Location: Princeton, NJ(Need locals)
Duration: 6 months+
Interview: F2F required
Job Description
· Microsoft BI
· Create BI solution architectures that are leverage-able for future re-use using Microsoft products integrated SharePoint
· Actively seek opportunities to leverage existing BI solutions for new business offerings and services
· Able to implement BI solutions and/or teach the business the tools for a self server model
· Align BI solutions with business functions to improve flexibility, facilitate large scale reuse, and improve comprehensibility and visibility of BI's value to the business
· Partner with business, Research and other FCE and IT teams in designing BI solutions that match the needs of the business
· Assess and formulate future architecture and technology direction for BI solutions
· Aggressively identify enterprise BI application solution/technology initiatives that are of value.
· Review and approve BI project deliverables to ensure that they are architecturally sound and meet business needs
· Influence business strategy by explaining the capabilities of the architecture to management and the SBUs (Strategic Business Units)
· Maintain a broad business understanding including customer and market trends
· Contribute to future vision and strategy by conducting research and proof of concepts
· Maintain a broad knowledge of new technical tools and trends, and apply those tools to improving business processes.
· Map business capabilities and services to BI solutions, and plan BI solutions for future business opportunities
· Actively seek opportunities to leverage existing BI solutions for new business offerings and services
· Continuously improve processes, technologies, applications to provide best value to business
· Establish standards in best practice design patterns and pitfalls to ensure that BI solutions perform to expectations.
