- Prepare/develop approach notes, solution frameworks and Proof-of-concepts
- Involve in Architecting, Designing and implementation of Analytics and IM applications using Hadoop and related technologies
- 7+ years IT experience involving application development with experience in Data warehousing, Data integration, Business Intelligence and analytics
- Experience in design and implementation of large data warehouse systems involving data volumes to the order of 50+ Terabytes
- Experience in Hadoop framework, HDFS, HDFS, MapReduce and related tools/utilities
- Good hands on experience in Java, J2EE, XML
- Knowledge Apache Hive, Google BigTable, Hypertable will be a plus
- Experience in any of the leading Data Integration tools like Informatica, Ab Initio, Datastage, Talend, Pentaho is desirable
- Knowledge of any of the leading BI tools like Business Objects, Cognos, Microstrategy, Oracle BI, etc, is desirable
- Proficient in any of leading RDBMS databases like Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Teradata, MS SQL Server and in Unix/Linux as well as Windows platforms
- Strong aptitude, problem solving skills and a zeal to learn new tools/ technologies, good communication skills
