Position: Web Developer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6+ months
 
In this role the candidate will develop tools and applications to create different business analytical reports from vast amount of data. We are looking for developers with deep experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Python, and SQL. Though Python is a primary requirement, familiarity and experience in other languages such as Ruby, PHP, and Java are very desirable.
 
The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated and proactive individual that combines deep technical knowledge with strong collaboration and excellent communication skills. Candidates should have a proven track record delivering user experience innovations in shipping applications.
 
 Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately reproducing design specifications.
* Developing innovative user interactions.
* Creating business-oriented intranet applications.
* Creating database-driven applications.
* Creating data visualizations.
 
Qualifications:
* Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript technologies.
* Strong working knowledge of Python, Ruby, PHP, or Java.
* Application development expertise with a web framework such as CodeIngitor, Django, or Rails.
* Experience creating charts and graphics with a library such as gRaphael or D3.js.
* Knowledge of SQL database development.
* Ability to deliver results rapidly and adapt to change quickly.
* Comfortable with version control software such as Subversion, Mercurial, or Git.
* Knowledge of User Interface, User Experience, and Information Design.
