Position: Business Analyst
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Duration: 4+ months                       (Start Date Nov 10th 2014)

Candidate has to send the below Questionnaire filled along with the resume:
  1.  Has this person updated and created technical documentation (Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, Requirements, Use Cases, Interface Specifications, etc..)?  IF so, which are the project work they have used all the tools stated above?
  2. Does the person have experience in enterprise integration and SOA – understands the concept, why it’s used? Can the person read XML?
  3. Has the person worked in an environment where they were responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to integration?  
  4. Is the person capable of doing root cause analysis when integration fail?
  5.  Has the person gone through multiple full lifecycle web application development projects?
  6.  Does the person have experience working with Agile methodologies?
  7.  Does the person have mortgage/financial services experience?
Requirement/Responsibilities:             
Define business processes and system alignment.
  • Will translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions. 
  • Strategic partner, acting as liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff (may include offshore staff).
  • Elicit, validate and translate business requirements into system definitions, use cases and software requirements.
  • Analyze, organize and create functional and non-functional requirements, gather and document business rules, design and propose software solutions.
  • Act as liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff.
  •  Support software development effort by providing clarifications on requirements and design to application development teams.
  • Identify and analyze problems, risks and change requests, research alternatives and drive solutions for items that impact project scope and schedule.
  • Review quality assurance test cases and ensure they meet solution requirements as stated in the design documents.
  • Write User Acceptance Test scenarios and support business users through the UAT cycle.
  • Maintain the documentation associated with internal software applications (use case courses, requirements, business rules, user interface specifications
  • Resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly.
  • Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc
  • Implement system alignment with business processes.
 Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years experience as a Business System Analyst with focus on software design. Full life cycle web application project experience is a big plus.
- System-to-system interface design experience.
- Solid working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies - Agile and SCRUM knowledge is a big plus
- Title insurance, escrow, mortgage and/or real estate industry experience is desired.
- Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conceptualize, write and present functional design documents.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Technical experience or exposure to interacting with data, querying data and working with XML a plus.
- Ability to work and facilitate calls with offshore resources in India during off hours.
