SAP BASIS at Seattle, WA

 

Need to have some experience MS/MSSQL  and Upgrade

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Senior SAP BASIS Administrator who is an expert with SAP upgrades, installations, system migrations.   The candidate should have experience in ECC 6.0, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager and other SAP applications to meet expanding business requirements.

Specific functions include:

•             Evaluate if we need to upgrade the SAP Portal from 7.00 to 7.40 or install new Portal on new hardware and migrate custom settings.

•             Upgrade BW from 7.0 to latest version.

•             Upgrade ECC from 7.0 EHP3 to 7.40 EHP7.

•             Migrate BW and ECC from Physical (MS 2003/MSSQL 2005) to VM (MS 2008/MSSQL 2008).

•             Fix Solution Manager Optimizer to allow upgrade and patch installs to work.

Qualifications required:

•         BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. 

•         SAP certification will be given preference.

Requirements:

•         Must have a degree with 8 - 10 years of consulting experience with SAP Basis in a medium- to large-sized environment.

•         Knowledge of Upgrades and Migration Assistant.

•         Must have previous Upgrade and Migration experience.

•         Able to understand version dependences with MS/MSSQL and SAP

Knowledge of SAP PAM tool
