Prior hands-on experience developing SQL Server 2008 R2 based applications using industry standards, specifically SQL Server Integration Services. Expert knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.
Primary responsibilities include writing packages, stored procedures, triggers, ad-hoc queries. Troubleshoot and optimize the performance of packages and stored procedures. Must be detail oriented to succeed in this role.
 
Required Skills:

  • Must have extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
  • Excellent knowledge of databases, data warehouse/modeling concepts and understanding of business intelligence.
  • Strong knowledge of creating SSIS packages using transformation.
  • Must be proficient in scripting (VB.net, .net, C#, VB Scripts).
  • Must have extensive experience with Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and Functions.
  • Experience building complex reports using Query/Report.
  • Query performance analysis and tuning.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, documentation, and ability to work in teams and/or independently.
  • Fast learner and excellent documentation habits.
Technical Skills:
SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, SSIS, SSIS, Scripts (VB.net, .net, C#, VB Scripts) Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, Functions, Performance Tuning.
