Responsibilities :
- Requirement gathering, analysis and development in the following technologies
- Stakeholder management – Managing customer in understanding the requirements and getting necessary sign-offs.
Work with offshore team to reduce communication gaps and deliver the output to customer.
clear focus on frontend development (javascript, css3, html5, jquery, etc.), as opposed to backend capabilities (PHP, .net, Spring)
- ideally experience in at least one sizable project with frontend frameworks (angular, ember, kendo, backbone, knockout). less ideally ext.js, sencha touch, jquery mobile.
failing frontend framework experience, should bring experience in several of the below:
- templates (mustache, handlebars)
- experience with client- or server-side MVC (routing, models, views, controllers, stores)
- ajax, json, RESTful services
- jquery, deferred/promises
- SASS/LESS
- linting, automated unit testing, automated UI testing
- cross-browser HTML5 development (IE8, chrome, firefox, tablet, phone)
optional, but great:
- task automation (grunt, sencha cmd, ant, maven)
- packaging (linting, minification, uncss, sass compilation, etc.)
the candidate should have a natural curiosity and should have looked into at least one new frontend technology (react, angular, backbone, polymer, sass, ember, typescript, coffeescript, node, asm.js, etc.)
