Duration: guaranteed thru 06/30/15 (Client extends every six months, and this project is going to last 2-3 years. Consultant will likely be in this role through 2017).

This is a backfill position, and the client has already generated a Purchase Order

We are looking to onboard a Websphere Developer. The client is currently a heavy user of IBM Notes for all internal applications and utilizing a Domino Server.

They are looking to move away from Domino and into Websphere. They will be using WAI, WCI for conversion and Portlets for future dev. Of the 3, Portlets is the most critical.

An ideal candidate would have prior experience handling this conversion.

They are looking to go live with the website in mid June of this year. There will be a number of applications to transition, so this could very well be a multi-year project.

Position will work closley with the Webmaster Domino Manager.

Required Skills
- Websphere training of internal staff will be primary role. Development will be secondary
- Five years of development experience with IBM WebSphere WCM, WCI, WAI or Portlet technologies in an IBM iSeries environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
