Role: Network security /security consultant
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
8 – 10 years of experience in Enterprise Infrastructure Security dealing with SSL VPN (Juniper preferably), Authentication Management and other network security technologies with Linux scripting, Linux networking skills, etc.
Hard skills –
a) 6 – 8 years of experience in Network security domain
b) Experience of performing customer-facing roles in a large IT infrastructure services provider.
c) Should have experience with Juniper SSL VPN solution. Should be able to design, develop and implement scalable SSL VPN solution.
d) Should be able to handle troubleshooting and day to day operational activities.
e) Experience with Linux is preferable (scripting, networking, file systems).
Soft skills –
a) Excellent written and communication skills
b) Good documentation and presentation skills
c) Excellent people management and service delivery skills
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Wipro Security team at onsite
• Drive Security service improvement initiatives
• Drive complex change requests execution and critical incident resolution
• Drive knowledge acquisition and service setup activities and share knowledge and learnings with offshore team on an ongoing basis.
• Perform administration and provide operational support for in-scope security devices
• Pro-actively identify and suggest to customer areas of improvement in current infrastructure
• Bring Wipro’s point of view in security area to the customer
• Serve as an escalation point of contact for the offshore Wipro team
