Job Title: Automation Tester with Code UI
Location: Smithfield, RI.

Fidelity Investments is seeking an experienced, skilled and technical Quality Assurance Engineer with Test Automation experience to fill a position within our Fidelity Financial Advisor Solutions (FFAS) Sales Technology group located in Smithfield, RI.
The selected candidate will be tasked with test planning, design, development, execution, and Automation of test cases that cover a broad set of technologies and systems, as well as numerous applications.
The candidate will be responsible for the following primary responsibilities:
• Testing of front end client/server applications.
• Data and SOA Web Service back end validation.
• Creation of detailed test plans and test cases.
• Works under minimal direction and provides test leadership
• Identifies and manages critical path of testing
• Identifies and defines technical issues
• Test case Automation using QTP and CodedUI
• Project interaction with Analysis, Development, UX, and User teams.
• Thorough test execution.
• Usage of test tools such as Quality Center, SOA Test and database query tools.
• Documentation of accurate defect reports.
• Provides status, input and escalation of project issues to project management.
Ideal candidate will have:
• 5+ years SDLC testing experience with front end and/or web services.
• 3+ years' experience in the financial industry.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum project teams
• Strong Quality Center and Rational Quality Manager experience
• Automation experience using QTP and CodedUI
• Experience working with sales systems (CRM/SFA) a plus.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team player across several groups and distributed teams.
• Ability/Desire to quickly learn new applications, tools, and technology.
• Ability to multi-task, manage time and priorities, and meet scheduled deadlines
