We are looking for a couple of experienced prototyping engineers on the Google Enterprise Scaling team.

We are looking for folks who have experience delivering robust business applications using web

technologies who are excited about agility and speed of developing new tools & systems, building in

flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs. As prototyping engineers, they are open to input and

rapid iteration to get the best solution as quickly as possible.

Engineers will lead the development and implementation of webbased

applications for internal applications.

Engineers will be involved in all aspects of web development requirements

gathering, prototyping,

development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, support and maintenance.

Engineers will work closely with Technology Managers, Analysts, UX engineers & QA to jointly develop

sales tools that will be used internally by Google Enterprise Sales. Engineers will be involved in all aspects

of system design, prototype development, UX, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and initial

support and maintenance. They will work closely with a crossfunctional

team of Googlers, using UI and

functional specs/prototypes as input.

Minimum Qualifications:

? B.S. in Computer Science or related engineering field (in lieu of degree, 24

years relevant work

experience).

? Experience building endtoend

web applications using JS, Java, or Python.

? Experience building on cloud platforms such as Google App Engine (GAE), AWS, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

? Experience in database design and SQL, data analysis & modeling.

? Experience with modern clientside

/ API technologies such as AngularJS, AJAX, cookies, REST,

JSON / XML, CGI/Java/ASP servlets.

? Experience in developing web application based on django framework and third parties APIs

? Familiarity with Google Enterprise business and products.

Responsibilities:

? Design & develop rapid prototypes of the webbased,

mobilefriendly

and / or backend

applications

to enhance the cross functional business processes & Google customer experience

? Collaborate with other Engineers on code reviews, infrastructure, and process enhancements

? Manage the graduation of the prototypes to production, ensuring scalable and reliable operation

? Actively interact with end users to gather immediate feedback and convert into rapid iterations of the

tools / systems
