Please include the following details: Full Name: Contact #: eMAIL: Skype ID: Summary The SSAS Developer works on multiple highly complex, custom Business Intelligence efforts using the latest product offerings in the Microsoft BI stack. They must have demonstrable experience working in a full-time capacity specializing in SSAS. Lead resource for designing, developing, maintaining, building, and deploying Analysis Services ROLAP and MOLAP cubes. The SSAS Developer is accomplished in their ability to solve real-world problems through writing advanced MDX from scratch. Will require ability to plan and coordinate activity with other BI team members and document policies and procedures relevant to this discipline. The SSAS Developer is responsible for securing data originating from the OLAP layer and concentrates on performance, availability and integrity of OLAP data. They interface with various internal clients to establish KPI's, hierarchies, and partitions. Duties and Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and scheduled deployment of mid-size to large cubes · Provide production support and OLAP maintenance (optimize performance, data integrity, capacity, reliability) · Review MDX from a logical and performance perspective and rewrite from scratch, if necessary · Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment required · Works independently and as a part of a team · Delivery of client focused products (data, reporting and analytics). This includes working with the rest of the technology team to plan product functionality and product releases and product support · Analyze business requirements and translates those into scalable SSAS solutions · Interfaces with end-users who are utilizing PowerPivot, PowerView, PerformancePoint, ReportBuilder, Visual Studio to generate actionable data through dashboards, canned or ad-hoc reports and data mining/analysis. · Installs/upgrades/configures SSAS servers, security, cube refresh schedules, solution deployment, backing up and restoring SSAS databases/cubes. · Works with management team to ensure data security and develop automated, dynamic security implementation routines · Adheres to change management process to resolve application defects or to implement development enhancements and deployments. · Meets with decision makers, subject matter experts, developers/architects and end users to define business requirements and BI goals.
