Job Description
This role will be responsible for leading a development team building the next generation of applications for nature.com, initially focused on our author manuscript submission system.
Requirements:
You know web technology deeply. You can demonstrate several years' experience in building web applications, with a focus on Ruby on Rails. But you're not new to software, and know more than one development language. You've used a variety of platforms, tools and services that inform the way you approach the software development lifecycle with a focus on code quality and technical excellence. You've managed and supported applications in production environments and know what this needs from the development team.
