Developer (Python with JAVA )
ONSITE ROLE IN NYC
We are seeking exceptionally talented and passionate Python Developers to join us as we continue to grow and achieve our aim of becoming the global market leader in the provision of business and technology services to the wholesale and investment banking sector.
Responsibilities:
· Work on front, middle or back office platforms for leading investment banks
· Involvement in projects such as building new trade capture systems or real time, multithreaded risk portals
· Develop a complete rewrite of the reporting suite and for introducing precognitive error checking and intelligent auto-correct for OATS
· Collaborate with bright enthusiastic consultants solving real world problems
Skills Required:
- Excellent Python/scripting skills with 3+ years of experience
- Excellent system design for a software oriented architecture
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of programming with UNIX is essential
- Full life cycle development experience
- Buy-side/Sell-side order management system experience is highly desired
- Experience with relational databases and multi-threaded programming, and knowledge of UNIX scripting languages is desired
- Previous consulting/investment banking experience preferred
- Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack of being a team player
