Solution Architect
Location: Atlanta, GA
Must Have Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in IT development, design and architecture
• TOGAF certification
• Up to date knowledge of current technologies and trends
• Knowledgeable and experienced in Java Development and its challenges
• Ability to address the entire solution stack and not just front-end or back-end minded.
• Ability to quickly learn / analyze the solution context and relate the technology decisions to that context
• Able to describe solutions and issues to management and technicians who may not be familiar with the subject matter
• Demonstrated ability to make strong judgments, work effectively with all levels of clients and IT management and staff, and work at the highest level of all phases of business system design and information delivery technologies required.
• Proven ability to manage large, multimillion dollars technology projects including ability to work as a liaison and “go between specialists” to translate EA requirements to product and vice versa required.
• Advanced written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Desired Skills:
• Travel industry experience in nice to have
• Work with Solutions Architecture team members that are physically distributed across many continents.
• Works with the business and customers to understand requirements and ensure the consistency of requirements across the enterprise.
• Has the ability to influence and direct the adoption of company technical direction.
• Ability to work with all levels in the organization and must be able to describe solutions and issues to both technical and non-technical employees.
