Description :
Architect, design and build next generation applications. Working in conjunction with infrastructure and product teams, and working with other talented programmers, lead the effort in the design and implementation of a scalable e-commerce platform including mobile. This opportunity requires a superstar engineer that can use his/her multiple skills and experiences, learned over multiple years, to build a world class service capable of handling millions of transactions.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Very strong design and architectural skills
* Knowledge of mobile technologies and single page apps is a big plus.
* Experience building highly scalable e-commerce platform.
* Ability to write backend code and web services to encapsulate complex business logic within a large framework of Object Oriented and Service Oriented code.
* Develop single-page mobile web apps using Html5, JavaScript and Backbone framework.
* Able to contribute to the core architecture in all layers of our code base including database access layer, MVC framework, web services layer.
* Lead and mentor junior programmers.
* Work with operations to ensure the applications are monitored.
* Work with database architects to design scalable database solutions.
* Write Unit tests in NUnit using Ninject and Rhinomocks frameworks.
* 5+ years of experience as a senior engineer and architect.
* 2+ years of C#, OOP experience.
* Experience in working in agile environments.
* Experience in building web services (RESTful, SOAP).
* Knowledge of database concepts and Microsoft SQL Server.
* Experience in writing unit tests.
* Strong understanding of relational database design and ability to navigate existing large-scale databases.
* Solid competencies in data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
* Experience using Splunk is a plus.
* Experience with .Net is a plus
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required
