Job Description:
- Tablet/Desktop.
Some webdriver automation and extra manual testing of a tablet web interface. Includes maps, address box, slider bars along with changing financial data and other UI elements.
- Android apps.
Manual QA sanity test plus some Espresso automation for 3 apps.
We have a basic Espresso test in place already for one of the apps, but developing that further would be important.
The other app does not have automation tests and the third app has not been developed yet (so, really, just 2 apps for now).
- Legacy Mobile/SMS + desktop UI.
This I think is the most challenging to automate because we receive SMS, create gCases entries and then need to verify on both gCases and on another internal dashboard UI that the data entered is correct and the service is functioning properly.
There are a few moving pieces here (app engine, borg, MobileGateway, etc) that may require Guitar automation + webdriver + learning some CLI tools for simulating SMS.
