Role: Design, develop & implement solutions using ESRIs ArcGIS suite (ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Portal). Provide solid effort estimates by reviewing business requirements and software specifications. Participate in internal discussions about design approaches and cost estimates for new projects. Articulate difficult issues and work to build consensus with internal and external peers in customer, vendor or regulatory organizations. Create intuitive user interfaces and tools that will appeal to both novice and expert users of geospatial applications. Provide technical collaboration within a wider virtual team to ensure projects stay on schedule. Candidate qualifications will include: In-depth knowledge and experience with ESRI products (ArcSDE, ArcServer, ArcObjects) and GIS concepts in general. We need someone who has used ArcGIS for Server geo-processing services, including developing related Python scripts. You will work cross-functionally so an understanding of project management concepts, requirements gathering and documentation, PLC, and testing will be necessary. Technical expertise should include a mix of the following: Silverlight, .NET (C#, ASP), and SharePoint. Flex, Java, JavaScript. REST Web Services. SQL Server, Oracle, and related development tools (SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL). GIS/Geospatial processing tasks using Map & Web Services and/or Google Earth.
