| Title: Sr.Web Developer – Adobe AEM/CQ Location: Westboro MA Position type: Contract In this position you will be working as part of a highly technical Agile/SCRUM team tasked with the development of a new digital platform. You will be responsible for enabling key features and capabilities as prioritized by the business, and leveraging them to define and implement completecustomer-facing business solutions. Responsibilities: As Adobe AEM/CQ developer, you will be responsible for translating designs into functional websites and web applications which are attractive to target users, have a logical navigational structure and are cross-browser, cross-platform and cross-device compatible. You will work as a team member on an agile team to deliver new or improved desktop/mobile websites, emails, micro sites and landing pages in line with company branding and web standards. You will engage with solutions architects and other Subject Matter Experts to define and deliver robust, flexible and globally-scalable technology solutions that meet established business objectives. You will conduct research, and recommend and implement optimal creative and technical solutions leveraging the most appropriate tools and technologies with a proven track record in the industry. You will look for improvement opportunities in our methods and tools that can be addressed through technical solutions, and will work with other team members to implement. You will be expected to troubleshoot development and production issues, seeing them through resolution and communicating progress along the way. Communication skills will be critical to the success of this position as you will be required to actively engage and collaborate with your peers across multiple functions, organizations, and geographies. Qualifications The ideal candidate in this position will have 5-8 years of demonstrated experience and expertise developing enterprise-scaleweb applications, supporting large projects and programs preferably across multiple software and infrastructure platforms. The candidate must have or exhibit: BS/BA degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience Passionate about web development and have the ability to analyze, learn and utilize rapidly changing technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Mobile) Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with iterative/continuous delivery development practices (Agile/Scrum). Focus on quality and continuous improvement Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and triage critical development and production issues Demonstrated ability to set and meet tight deadlines and function well under pressure Demonstrated ability to develop effective and enduring working relationships with peers, partners and business stakeholders Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills The candidate will possess: Software development background, with extensive knowledge and experience with commercial and open source web technologies, frameworks and toolsets Minimum three years of experience with the Adobe AEM/CQ enterprise content management system and related technologies At least five years of work experience in building commercial websites Hands-on experience with following frameworks, technologies, and toolsets: Spring, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, HTML, CSS Working knowledge of Java/J2ee stack Excellent cross-browser development & debugging skills Fluent in translating creative designs and wireframes into HTML/CSS that can be templated Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other applications in the Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud is a plus Strong affinity with digital technologies Ability to apply usability and SEO best practices in your work Hands-on experience with virtual and cloud-based deployments is a plus Avinash Tenkar Sr. Recruiter Email: avinash@xperttech.com ph:781-780-2939X3015 Fax: 781-207-0709 |
