Obviously a solid foundation of project management is required, but a successful candidate will be one that is independent, resourceful, and is willing to dig in and figure out how to get things done. Project Background: · Implementation of a SaaS based Expense Management System (EMS). A project driven by the business (Financial Shared Services) with a SaaS based supplier. · 67 countries in scope. 10 languages · 28,000 travelers · Bi-directional data integration from legacy HR system, +multiple instances of JDE/SAP, + legacy ERP systems in Poland and China. · New EMS and associated policy/procedure changes will result in a transformation, not a transition. Extensive change management involved. Client has an internal CCE department and a resource from that department is already on the team · Privacy and work council approvals needed in certain EMEA countries · Client is implementing an internal Shared Services model which is creating resource constraints on numerous projects, and will affect the sustaining organization for this project. · JDE to SAP migrations are scheduled in certain countries also scheduled for the EMS implementation representing an additional implementation constraint. Program/Project Manager Requirements: · Senior PM Level assumed. >10 year's experience · University degree in Business, IT or equivalent experience · MS Project Server - MS Office · Analytical Skills (MS Excel) · Global Exposure · Large complex implementation exposure · Project budgets >$5mm · Strong analytical and problem solving skills · Solid verbal and written communication skills. Usual PM monitoring and controlling abilities. · Able to manage multiple project towers · Experience working with a geographically distributed team · Gathering and updating project materials, completing budgeting, forecasting, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents · Risk/Issues management · Possess state-of-the-art knowledge of related technologies and project management processes and practices · Solid business acumen. (This is both a business and technology project). Recognizes wider business implications of decisions/actions.
