TITLE: UI DEVELOPER/DESIGNER
NYC, NY

CLIENT: BARCLAYS
LOCALS ONLY F2F REQUIRED
This role will have the following major duties and responsibilities:
ü Work as a team player in a global development group participating in requirements and data analysis, design and especially as a lead user interface designer and developer
ü Work closely with business users to understand the UI requirements and translate requirements into wireframes and storyboards
ü Create UI visual designs with the ability to produce graphics (images, icons, logos, etc.) as necessary
ü Develop working prototypes using HTML/CSS/JavaScript based on UI designs
ü Direct involvement in development projects to produce storyboards, wireframes, design mock-ups, and working prototypes using HTML/CSS/JS
ü Apply industry standard design patterns for web application development Person Requirements
ü 7+ years of experience in software development in Java
ü 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design and/or development
ü Advanced experience with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (AJAX / JSON)
ü Proven delivery track record of user interface design and development projects
ü Experience with HTML5 development experience
ü Working knowledge with various JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, ExtJS, YUI, etc)
