Job description
Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) are responsible and accountable to define acceptance criteria for feature development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong problem solving, design, coding, and debugging skills.
Develop test plans through various tool sets for ease of documentation and learning.
Develop robust test automation to test distributed systems and owned feature areas
Work in collaboration with the feature team in an agile engineering product cycle.
Partner with peer disciplines to ensure continuous integration solutions meet the needs of the entire organization.
Actively participate in design discussions, code reviews and root cause analysis.
Cross group collaboration with partner teams and organizations.
Advocate of test innovation and methodologies in the test organization.
Partner with the Quality Engineering team to define common test patterns, practices, tool sets, processes and methodologies
Expand test coverage including execution and ownership of assigned projects during ship cycle (Security, Performance, etc…)
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience in a relevant software test agile development role
3+ years of experience with C# OR JAVA, Web experience (HTTP, Web Services, DBRMS)
Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium
Familiarity with cloud technologies and multi-tiered client and server-distributed applications is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
