JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for design, development, implementation and maintenance of the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) application (version 11g) in the Group. Work directly with business analysts, data architects and ETL Teams to understand the needs, develop and deliver business intelligence solutions to satisfy business goals and strategic direction of the organization.
Position Accountabilities
· Minimum of Eight (8) years of directly related experience in OBIEE design and development.
· Expert level experience in RPD modeling and report development.
· Support data analytics activities to support management reporting and analytics (Monthly Operational Reporting, Department Dashboards, Financial Reporting) using Oracle Business Intelligence (required) and Tableau.
· Strongly influence technical decisions by developing and institutionalizing a data-driven analytics.
· Experience with Oracle SQL and ability to create data sets.
· Ability to quickly learn new BI tools and produce professional, applicable reports quickly.
· Attention to detail to uncover data gaps and inconsistencies.
- Understand/Review STAR models and analyze/improve query performance
Required Education or Equivalent Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in (or foreign equivalent) in Computer science or Management Information Technology or related field.
Required Experience
· Minimum of Eight (8) years of directly related OBIEE development experience.
· Background in Banking Industry preferred but not required.
· Expert level proficiency in Oracle SQL
· Good understanding of Star Schema and Dimensional Models
· Very strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
