Intralinks is currently looking for Senior Oracle DBA/Developer, who thrives to work in a hi-energy, fast paced environment to join our Product Development team located in our Boston Development facility
About the Team
Working in concert with product management, quality control, project management and other stakeholders, the product development team is chartered with developing robust, reliable, scalable software to delight our customers an ensure Intralinks position as a market leader.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop database modules for the Intralinks application
• Analyze production performance issues and resolve them
• Research and prototype DB solution for future projects
• Support Java developers to write and tune queries
• Create reports for other departments
• Work with operations to help deploy and manage the applications
• Setup & maintain development Database environments
Qualifications:
• Education: - BS in IS or related field.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least 6 years of Oracle working experience. Must have good knowledge of Oracle internals and performance related methodology. The candidate must be a confident, independent developer needing little supervision.
• Understanding of web applications is preferred. Experience in rapid software deployment environments and agile methodology is preferred. Experience with Java data access frameworks such as Hibernate/iBATIS/JDBC is preferred.
• Proficient in the following technology:
• Relational database concepts/design
• Proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL
o Extensive experience writing stored procedures, triggers and functions in Oracle
o DBA fundamentals
o Data modeling fundamentals
o Oracle Performance Tuning
o Other Oracle Tools such as SQL*Loader
o Nested Tables
• Desirable Technical Skills but not Required
o RAC/Data Guard
o Experience 11G
o Oracle Globalization Support, Oracle Advanced Replication, Streams
o Data Warehouse and Content Management
o Metadata driven design
o XML DB
