| Role: QA Tester with C#.Net experience Location: Salt Lake City, UT Duration: 6 months Contract Start Date: Immediate Required skills: 5+ years working in a QE role with .NET and C# thick client applications, ideally as a developer or as a Software Engineer in Test kind of role 5+ years working with Visual Studio test features and memory profiling tools One year or more in a lead role with demonstrated success in driving process and product changes achieving high quality releases Job Description: In this role the successful candidate will have responsibility for driving the testing of our .NET based thick client application. The product has had quality issues in the past so I am looking for someone who has had success in driving quality improvements in the development and test of .NET apps, and can also go toe-to-toe with developers on any product issues found and the proper resolution of said issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality releases on a monthly basis, working with teammates to cover all areas of test, including load and performance. Also having an opinion on automation and how properly automate .NET testing is a plus. The successful candidate will also be able to make use of all aspects of Visual Studio to optimize testing, including training of current QA personal on the tools, and memory profiling to identify memory usage issues.
