  • Supporting Release Management function for CPE deployed devices.
  • Work with Development Team to establish the release targets and what fixes come into what spin for a release.
  • Project Planning:  Work with the device PMs to plan out release spins, and to adjust based on device-specific impacts.
  • Release Branch Management:  Migration of changes to stable branch for Release preparations.
  • Minimum (3) years of Release Engineering experience preferably in Set-top box or open-source domain
  • Experience with SCM tools preferably GIT/GERRIT.
  • Software development Experience in C/C++ in Embedded Linux environment.
  • Experience with Defect Tracking tools preferably JiRA.
  • Experience with RDK, Yocto based development lifecycle is a plus.
  • Experience with project management and build automation tools.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools.
  • Experience with scripting languages for the purpose of automation (Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash).
  • Experience with Red-Hat based Linux systems for general administration.
  • Solid analytical, critical and creative problem solving skills.
  • High level of personal organization, as well as the ability to promote efficient and effective organized teamwork.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle.

•          Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education

•          At least 9 years of experience with SKILLS SET

Preferred

•          Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•          5 or more years of experience with middleware technologies & Integration Platforms (ROA/SOA/EAI/ESB/BPM) with a primary focus on design, architecture & development for large scale & complex enterprise grade solutions.

•          4 or more years of demonstrated experience with providing architecture, design and maintenance support for enterprise-scale SOA and other integration implementations.

•          Must have a working knowledge ROA/SOA/EAI/ESB/BPM concepts, Event Driven Architecture, J2EE design patterns, frameworks and enterprise integration patterns.

•          Strong experience with Messaging (JMS, MQ, AQ, etc.) and Message Oriented Middleware
