Role: Lawson Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: Very Long term Contract
Start Date: ASAP
1. Knowledge:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development/support environment
Strong experience in programming and analysis
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
2. Skills:
Prior experience with Lawson Software and attention to detail
Strong experience with COBOL
Strong experience with Unix and Unix Scripting
Experience with JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and XML
Experience in strategic planning, development, implementation and maintenance of Business applications
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to learn new technical skills
Highly motivated, results driven with strong work ethics
3. Abilities:
Ability to be self-directed and interact effectively as either a leader or as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
Ability to perform thorough analysis with a strong emphasis on critical thinking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines and deliver high quality products.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
