Role: MSTR Developer
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
· Design, development, documentation and implementation of applications and reporting solutions based on agreed customer specifications
· Hands on experience in Microstrategy reporting and MicroStrategy Report Services dashboards
· Previous experience in Dashboard design and implementation.
· Experience in the latest version of Microstrategy [9.0.1 & above]
· Thorough knowledge of all capabilities of the MicroStrategy Suite including the following Dimensional Modeling, Architect, Developer, Distribution Services, Transactional services, Visual Insight, Mobile.
· Experience in developing Public Objects like filters, prompts, metrics, templates, consolidations, etc.
· Expert in using Schema Objects to create reports.
· Good knowledge of Data Warehousing and RDBMS concepts.
· Expertise in Pass through functions and InMemory cubes.
· Previously worked on Agile / SDLC model, participating in designing and development of reports, dashboards.
· Assisting the development using best practices and standards
· Manage development tasks effectively with a focus on delivering quality results within agreed SLAs
· Work with colleagues, end-users and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement of the tools and reports delivered by the development team
· Strong problem solving and reports development skills
· Perform unit testing on finished work items
· Ability to provide technical support to all team members during project execution
· Hands-on experience with SQL and Relational databases
