Role:                     Sr. PHP Developer / Full Stack Software Engineer
Location:              Santa Clara, CA
Duration:             6+ months

·  PHP 5 OOP
·  MySQL database. Knowledge of Amazon storage systems is a plus
·  AngularJS, jQuery
·  Working in command line (shell) is a plus.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our talented engineering team.
Our stack is primarily Laravel framework (PHP) and AngularJS. You will be working with a small team of
extremely talented fellow engineers, designing and developing web and mobile applications for both the
consumer and to support our internal operations. You will work on our web and mobile platforms,
implementing features across the entire stack. Some specific projects you may work on include: building
personalized recommendations (think Netflix's recommendation engine), enhanced search, forecasting
demand to buy new toys and Daily Performance Dashboard.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Experience with e-commerce systems.
  • Experience with Laravel / Zend framework.
  • Experience with payment APIs such as Braintree/Stripe.
  • Proficient in REST API development
  • Deep knowledge of AngularJS, PHP, Apache and OO programming.
  • Comfortable with Build tools, Programming editors, Bug tracking tools, Source Control.
 
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Physical Sciences
  • At least 5 years designing and developing code in an e-commerce/web services environment
  • Experience with Laravel/Zend or other framework
  • Experience with payment APIs such as Braintree/Stripe
  • Proficient in REST API development
  • Deep knowledge of AngularJS, PHP, Apache and OO programming
  • Comfortable with Build tools, Programming editors, Bug tracking tools, Source Control
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, demanding environment
