The OED work will include analyzing, encoding, testing (unit, functional, user), debugging, and documenting a new version of PRISM. The OED intends to use Oracles' Application Express (APEX) web application tool to build and deploy the application. The applicant must have three to five years' experience with APEX and should have an equivalent amount of experience with structured query language (SQL) and procedural language extensions for SQL (PL/SQL).
The OED intends to manage the project using the Agile Scrum Methodology. The applicant should have experience in an Agile Scrum environment or demonstrate an academic knowledge of the methodology. In addition, the applicant will be expected to work closely and in partnership with OED Information Technology staff throughout the development process.
The goal is a complete knowledge transfer of the use of the APEX environment and the coding techniques and practices used in the development of this program. This will allow the OED to perform maintenance on the application after deployment.
All proposed resumes must include the following information in the layout below:
· Cover letter introducing the Key Person, Solicitation number, and skills.
· Detailed resume, this does not need to be in "Covendis" format. Please use business professional IT standard formats that includes transferrable skills. This includes footers, page numbers, headers, etc. There is no page limit however, please provide experience from year 2005 to current.
· Positions, education, transferrable skills and work experience for the last 5 years that are relevant to this Programmer III solicitation. The Agency requires 3 years of Programming experience with desktop applications. The applicant must have experience with Oracle Applications Express, APEX, SQL and Microsoft. Experience with Active Reports highly desired.
