Someone who has only done UI work will not be qualified. Some people have only ever worked on systems designed by others. This person needs to have done designs. In submitting such people, please clearly describe what he/she has designed. Summary: - Strong C# - Strong MS SQL Server (can write and optimize queries, understands RDB concepts) - Has designed complex systems or subsystems, including data and control flow with server-side components - Has authored server-side components, and has created APIs - Great communication - Can thrive in scrum - 6 month plus contract Summary of Work: In our parking app we have a ground transportation feature that we are going to completely rewrite. I want to pair a more junior person on my team with a more senior consultant. My person brings product knowledge and feature/market knowledge. The consultant will work with him to design and implement the new version. This features manages ground transportation activity at an airport. Ground transportation includes holding and overflow lots for taxis, shuttles and limos, manually or automatically releasing vehicles from the holding lots, interfacing with signage, and configuring the system for different parking configurations (number of holding lots, whether there are overflow lots, where there are readers). It is an agile development environment, doing scrum. We do planning, have 2 week sprints with daily standups, and retrospectives at the end of every sprint. We use Visual Studio 2013 and 2015, Resharper, JIRA, TFS and SQL Server 2012 R2. All the positions will operate within an Agile software development methodology requiring qualified candidates to be very comfortable with SCRUM, transparency, openness, etc. |
