The candidate will be required to:

  • Serves as the senior technical resource on these projects including providing direction to junior staff and reporting progress and status to project leads, Oversee all design and implementations of feeds, data structures, reports, etc. including analysis and documentation of existing feeds 
  • Work with business analysts to understand business and functional requirements and translate into technical design specifications 
  • Follow project management and SDLC disciplines to insure structured and effective implementations 
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to junior development resources on .Net development, SQL databases, and best practices. 
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation for assigned projects 
  • Experience interfacing with web services
  • Ability to work with multicultural teams and geographically dispersed teams in multiple time zones 
  • Relevant software skills, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project and Visio. 
  • Strong verbal/written communications skills and problem solving abilities 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 6+ years of experience as a senior developer in a corporate environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the Microsoft application development platform (.Net 4.0 Framework or above) 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases

Job Description
The Master Data Management (MDM) Lead will drive the MDM solution and strategy for Insurance domain.

The MDM Lead Engineer will be part of the Master Data Management (MDM) core Competency team. This person will be working in solution team which designs, develops, implements and supports the broader Product, Supplier. Customer MDM platforms and services to meet business needs. This individual will demonstrate strong architectural, leadership and technical skills, with an extensive experience base from which to draw from. The candidate selected will be responsible for the leadership, oversight and guidance of a diverse and expanding product team (development, support, quality assurance, etc.)This person will design and implement multiple Master Data Management projects based on multiple MDM platforms with various domain. This will require extensive experience to ensure the solution implemented follows accepted solution and integration patterns and interacts successfully with existing and new applications as they are designed and implemented.

*         Leads the installation,  configuration, design and development of MDM technology (IBM MDM 11.x). Designs and implements solutions to integrate MDM environment with interfacing applications, 
           data quality  tools, and business processes.
*         Assist operational teams in troubleshooting activities within a mission critical run-time environment
*         Partners with the MDM Service team, ETL Designers, and Business Partners to define functional and technical requirements for MDM technology. Captures MDM use cases and requirements to 
           incorporate into technology solutions. Conducts gap analysis for MDM data processes and content.
*         Ensures MDM technology meets needs for managing data architecture, metadata, data profiling, data quality, data hierarchies, master data workflow, and data governance. Evaluate domain-specific

*         Defines measurable metrics and the minimal required attribute for each subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of a MDM platform..
